On the afternoon of January 3, Wang Long, deputy secretary of the Longyan Municipal Party Committee and executive deputy mayor, and other city party investigation teams rushed to Liancheng to investigate and supervise the work of the "river system" in the Minjiang River Basin. Supervising the construction of the sewage treatment facility project in the Liancheng section of the Minjiang River Basin is an important part of this investigation. Deputy Secretary Wang Long and his party went to the construction site of the project in Luofang Township and Jiele Township, and listened to the report on the progress of the project by the County Housing and Urban-rural Construction Bureau, SDIC and the construction unit Fujian Lanshen Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. Deputy Secretary Wang Long affirmed the progress of the project construction and hoped to step up the construction before the holiday to ensure that the project as a whole completed the acceptance and trial operation. At the same time, he provided guidance and requirements on ensuring safe production and ensuring project quality.

During the investigation, Deputy Secretary Wang Long pointed out that the water environment pollution control in the Minjiang River Basin is very urgent. All participating units should attach great importance to, implement responsibilities, cooperate with each other, and go all out to fight this "critical battle". At the same time, Deputy Secretary Wang Long requested to strengthen the planning and design. The sewage treatment project should be integrated with the surrounding environment and the factory area, harmoniously integrated; pay attention to safety protection and construction safety, such as the need to install guardrails on the top of the box.
