Judging from the winning bids for the types of water market projects in 2020, municipal sewage projects have the largest number, accounting for 34% of the entire water market; water environmental projects account for the largest proportion, accounting for nearly half of the entire water market. According to data, from January to March 2020, my country's social capital won a total of nearly 100 water investment and operation PPP projects, with an investment of nearly 70 billion yuan. Among them, there are about 34 municipal sewage treatment projects, 22 water environment projects, 17 village and town sewage projects, and 12 water conservancy projects.

In terms of the water market trend, due to the epidemic situation in February 2020, the bidding process for some projects was postponed, and the number of projects and investment have decreased year-on-year. However, with the resumption of production in March, some projects that were delayed in the previous period were It was released in March. According to the data, from January to March 2020, a total of 99 water investment and operation projects were completed, with an investment of nearly 70 billion yuan; the number of transactions in water projects was basically the same as that of the same period last year, and the transaction investment even increased to an increase of 20%. 

In the first quarter of 2020, the water market with an investment of 70 billion yuan, 44% of the market share was distributed in the Yangtze River Economic Belt, accounting for nearly half; however, the 15% market share in the Yangtze River Economic Belt was taken away by the Three Gorges Group. Since the Three Gorges Group began to get involved in environmental protection, its business has quickly spread to cities along the Yangtze River Economic Belt, and has won large orders for water PPP projects in Chongqing, Hunan, Hubei and other cities and counties.

In the water environment market, private companies only account for 10% of the market share, and nearly 90% of the market share is obtained by state-owned enterprises. At the same time, among state-owned enterprises, architectural central enterprises accounted for 50%, central platform companies accounted for 32%, and square B accounted for 8%.

In the municipal sewage market share, the share obtained by private enterprises accounted for nearly 60%, of which the C/D square array accounted for 43%, and the A square array accounted for 16%. Forty percent of the projects were obtained by state-owned enterprises. Among the shares of state-owned enterprises, B-squares accounted for 21%, A-squares accounted for 12%, central platform companies accounted for 5%, and architectural central enterprises accounted for 2%.
